Bella Wants To Be A Writer by author RyAnn Adams Hall is a cute and memorable children’s book that should inspire children and lead them on the path to positive thinking. Bella’s teacher talks about careers in class, but Bella is unsure what she wants to be and what she wants to do. She decides she wants to write children’s books, and when she questions why she has to keep going to school when she already knows her future career, her mother instructs her that she has to keep learning to be a writer! Bella is excited about writing books and connects it to other things in her life. She sets goals for herself as she begins to understand that she can be anything if she sets her mind to it and learns in school.
Bella is a positive role model for children, particularly when it comes to following dreams and setting early goals. The illustrations in Bella Wants To Be A Writer are fun and relaxing, just perfect for children. Also, Bella uses her imagination as she thinks about everything she wants to write about when she grows up and becomes an author, and this should inspire children to use their own imaginations. Author RyAnn Adams Hall does a superb job keeping the story fun but relatable for children, placing an emphasis on goals, imagination, and positive thinking. The book is recommended for grade-school children and should be a welcome addition to any home or school library.
