Author Biography

I mainline coffee and chocolate, worry about the width of my hips and peruse too many cookbooks. I suspect I wouldn't fret about one if I didn't indulge in the other.
I'm also an avid mountain climber, photographer, piano player, karaoke singer, shoe hoarder, seamstress and clothing designer. I do my best writing near Scottish lochs, mountain passes, campfires and at home in Atlanta, Georgia at my massive roll-top desk. I love to play devil's advocate, transporting readers to places where uncommon heroes have good and bad flaws, the girls are full of spunk, the landscape is magical, and the world is alive with possibilities!

Bellocaro by P. S. Meraux is a vampire story with a difference. Skye Moon has had enough. Trying to escape the school jock who won't leave her alone, she finds herself deep in the woods. There, she meets Thatcher, a mysterious boy to whom she is inexplicably drawn. But meeting him puts her in danger, a nightmare of epic proportions as a vampire has her in his sights and wants her dead – all because she met Thatcher. Skye fears for her life but she clings to the hope that the boy she sees in her visions will save her, if only she knew who he was. When Thatcher arrives at her school with his family, things change. Thatcher has long maintained secrecy about his family except with Skye and now she believes there is more to the new kid than meets the eye. Thatcher also has visions but he predicts that he will kill Skye. Falling in love with each other, Skye and Thatcher have a tough job ahead of them – keeping themselves and each other out of danger.

Bellocaro by P. S. Meraux is much more than a vampire story. It is a paranormal romance about the difference between following your heart and your head with a touch of humor and a little sizzle thrown in for good measure. This is a unique take on an age-old genre, an action-packed plot that romps along smoothly at a steady pace. The characters are real people with flaws and emotions we can all relate to. The descriptive style of writing pulls you straight into this fabulous story, taking you along for the ride as the relationship between the two main characters builds. If you want a story you can lose yourself in for a few hours, this is the one for you. And I guarantee the ending will leave you wanting more.

This was a very creative approach and just like the book it was thrilling but had a southern edge to it.

Incredibly imaginative and comical for sure. I recommend.

Well written story with more of the same feeling of Twilight. Although not my genre I enjoyed the story very much.

It is most certainly teen vampire romance.

Bellocaro by P.S. Meraux was a fun read. Could be a sequel to Twilight. Romantic, thrilling, intense, descriptive, adventurous, fast-paced, and engaging. The author did a great good. I like vampire books and any vampire book connaisseur would like it as well.

I am a big fan of paranormal and sci-fi books, that is the reason why I have chosen this one. It was not exactly what I am used to, but sometimes we get what we needed, not just what we wanted!

I always try to give a little leeway for self-published books but I didn't really need to for this one! Highly recommended.
