Chantal Dalton's Beyond All Knowing is an intimate poetry collection that takes you on a journey of self-discovery and acceptance. These poems tackle a wide range of themes related to the everyday human experience. In "Be and Let Be," the narrator recalls their moments of loneliness and uncertainty, discovering love to be their solace through which they feel fulfilled. The poem "Home" encapsulates the age-old adage that home is where the heart is. Love should be unconditional, aptly shown through the poem, "Unlimited." "Shadow" shows how a person can still feel close to a loved one despite time and distance separating them. "Big Easy" illustrates the sense of longing a person feels for someone they love. "Proof" demonstrates the ways silence can impact a relationship between two people.

Chantal Dalton presents an enthralling collection of observational poetry that leaves you with a lot to think about. These poems are introspective and personal, yet cover universal themes that will resonate with all readers. Dalton's poems primarily deal with the human experience, showing how everyone is trying to know themselves and seeking love and a sense of belonging in this world. These poetic narratives also touch upon topics such as longing, loss, grief, loneliness, uncertainty, and more. There is a raw emotional verve to Dalton's poetry that strikes your soul. Beyond All Knowing is, without a doubt, a poetry collection that will be revisited by readers over and over again. The author has a distinctive poetic voice that needs to be heard. I thoroughly enjoyed this collection and heartily recommend it.
