Beyond Omega's Sunrise by Eleni Papanou is an intriguing novel about what will happen when things go wrong with the sun. In this book we see an increase in the output of the sun, which leaves half the universe destroyed. The other half of the universe, like the areas of East Coast in the United Republic and many other areas, are expected to perish by the next sunrise. These are the last few hours before the end of the world and different people in different corners of the world are doing things to escape or make amends. Some see the end of the world as a relief. The book takes readers on an interesting journey woven with fantasy, spiritual consciousness and mysticism which makes it a compelling read.
Divided into four cycles, the story is very original. It links a group of people together on the eve of Earth's destruction. This same group was linked by a shuttle crash that occurred ten years earlier. The events that are going to happen will make their fates clash again. The book is a spiritually uplifting fantasy story where the author exposes the consciousness of the human mind. The author's spiritual lessons and awakening make the story appealing.
The theme fascinated me a lot. It is a spiritually advanced and futuristic plot where readers can connect with all the characters portrayed. There is a kind of mysticism and spirituality in the story that gives the plot another dimension.
