Detective Nick Winston and Pat Strom know they have their hands full when they're called to investigate the murder of Father Michael Dunne. The beloved priest had served his church for years in Seattle and nobody could fathom why anybody would want to murder him. Father Dunne was the model of perfection until they dug into his past and discovered two unsavory truths: a sexual abuse allegation at his last parish in Oregon, and a parishioner who was a bit too close at his current parish. Is it possible that the priest had a double life, as we have discovered that so many do? Detectives Winston and Strom find out that life inside the church can be just as gritty and ugly as life outside the church in Bless Me Father For I Have Sinned by Kelly Marshall.

I thoroughly enjoyed Bless Me Father For I Have Sinned, because it's the perfect murder mystery. The characters are well developed and as intriguing as the plot itself, which has plenty of twists and turns to keep you guessing. What's more is that the interactions of the detectives and how their personal lives intersect with the investigation are just as compelling as the primary plot. If you're looking for a well developed and intriguing mystery, then Kelly Marshall has certainly delivered it in this novel. I highly recommend it to anybody who loves a riveting story that you just can't put down. Well written, well developed, and well done. An excellent book!
