Bonez by Mr. Roses is a fun and inspirational book for children. The story is told through rhyming and follows the main characters, Bonez, aka Guss, Quigz, and Essie who are all excellent skaters striving to be the best. Bonez finally wins an important race against his nemesis Sally; he'd never beaten her before. After the race, Bonez is approached by numerous agents all wanting him to sign with them. After a conversation with each agent and some useful advice from his dad, Bonez decides to sign with 50/50; they seemed to have his best interests at heart, unlike the others who just want to make money off him and his talents. At first, Bonez stays his usual self, but eventually, he starts heading down a dark path of ignoring people close to him and caring more about his reputation and fame. Will Bonez continue to lose those close to him? Or will he wake up and realize what is most important? Find out in Mr. Roses's book Bonez.

After reading Bonez, I was left feeling amazed. The amount of work that went into this book is enormous as the story tells an important life lesson that everyone should learn at a young age. I love that the author chose to tell the story through a child because it will be easier to educate children about the importance of staying true to who they are and to always follow their hearts. By teaching them this lesson, they will have a better chance at choosing the right path, unlike the character Bonez in this story. The rhyming was consistent throughout and flowed effortlessly. I enjoyed reading Bonez so much and I urge anyone with children to purchase a copy immediately, as this is a lesson that will prove to be crucial. Congrats, Mr. Roses, and please continue to educate through your entertaining stories.
