Book of 5 by Richard T is a collection of 5 stories, all very different. In The Park, we meet otherworldly monks in a monastery. It's transition day, and the new influx of monks is arriving. But then disaster strikes as an Android built by the President's team strikes hard. Its onboard computer chip has been damaged, and unless they can stop it, it will wreak havoc on the planet. Fractured takes us back in time with a group of gun club friends, back to the wild west where they must fight for their lives. Can they survive, and will they make it back to their own time? You Can't Catch Me introduces us to a serial killer the police can't seem to catch, while The Tolands tells the tale of three brothers - a prosecutor, a detective, and an inventor - so why did one end up in jail for life? Lastly, White Cloud takes us on a mystical journey where a postman's life is set to change forever.
Book of 5 by Richard T is a fascinating compendium of stories, all very different and covering multiple genres - sci-fi, crime, and fantasy. Each story is concise with plenty of detail in a short space. They are complete stories on their own, and each has a varied set of characters, all well-developed, relatable and likable. There is plenty of action, and each tale offers its own twists and turns, some that keep you guessing. The author demonstrates a real knack for drawing you into a story and keeping you there to the end. This kind of book is ideal for those who want something quick to read to while away an hour, and I really enjoyed every tale. I look forward to reading more from Richard T.
