Can Pandas Be Koalas Too? is a children's picture book by Jane Xu. The story follows Pandy, a character who loves living in Koaloland. She enjoys relaxing afternoons, the scent of the trees, and singing Koala songs. However, one day at Koala school, a friend asks her where she is from and points out that she looks like a Panda. This question confuses Pandy, who has always been proud to call Koaloland her home. Seeking answers, Pandy talks to her mother, who tells her that she is a Panda. Yet, her friends believe she is a koala or a mix of both a koala and a panda. This leaves Pandy even more perplexed. Thankfully, with the help of a kind Platypus, she learns that she has the power to choose where she belongs.
