In this book "Changing Fate Through Reincarnation," the author Gerald Sze tells the reader: "Your belief system is a powerful force that shapes your state of mind. It defines your identities and determines how you see others and yourselves. Therefore, you become what you believe." Sze writes of how a person can change his or her fate through self-responsibility. Having discussed both evolution and the creation theories, he states: "if we know that we will have a new life based on what we do in our current life, and where that life ends, we have an incentive to grow and change. The reincarnation story demands ethical self-regulation, self-growth, and self-responsibility.” Sze cites Jesus, Nelson Mandela, Mohammad, Mother Teresa and Gandhi as exemplary humans who chose their own destiny. He also discusses how the late Princess Diana could have changed her fate, for "we reap what we sow."
"Changing Fate Through Reincarnation: How the Fusion of Responsibility, Freedom, Karma and Meaning of Life Can Set You Free" is not an easy book to read. Gerald Sze's writing style is both deep and complex, but the readers who slowly make their way through this book will appreciate Sze's efforts. The author writes that many have a need to do moral good but lack inner strength and faith to accomplish what needs doing. What Sze writes is powerful, but he needs readers who can concentrate on his words. Each chapter is well-footnoted and contains at its conclusion an easy to understand summary. The index at the book's end is excellent. "Changing Fate Through Reincarnation" has first-rate messages for the thinking reader.
