Christmas Wish Collection by Kathleen Ryder is an engaging, entertaining book of contemporary romance containing four different emotionally-driven stories. Romance fans will find something for all tastes by this bestselling Amazon author. Cozy up or let your hair down with these charming novellas, each reflecting love during a special holiday. With Christmas being the central theme, this would make the perfect holiday gift. But each story stands alone as interesting, endearing, and something you'll want to read again when next Christmas rolls around.

I like the author's overall theme that happiness and love can be found in the simple things of life, whether an old flame or thoughtful gestures of friendship during the holidays. The four novellas are The Flying Doctor's Christmas Wish; The Cynical Doctor's Christmas Wish; The Brooding Doctor's Christmas Wish; A Christmas Hope. My personal favorite is A Christmas Hope. Ryder's versatile style shines through each of these novellas; each one is unique and offers a solid plot, characters you can connect with, dialogue that moves the story along in an engaging way, and a pace just right for a novella. Though these are Christmas stories, the author doesn't shy away from some couples' tough issues during the holidays. The realism of the stories is appealing, and you get an overall sense of satisfaction when you reach the end of the four stories. Ryder knows romance, love, and relationships, and she garnishes her stories with wit. If you like Hallmark Christmas movies or similar works, you'll love Christmas Wish Collection by Kathleen Ryder.

Christmas Wish Collection is a contemporary romance novel written by Kathleen Ryder. The novel consists of several short heart-warming romances between four couples on overcoming the challenges within their relationships to fulfill their deepest desire for one another during the most magical season of all, Christmas. The Flying Doctor’s Christmas Wish tells the story of Alex and Tilly, best friends for life. Are they willing to risk their friendship to uncover something that they never thought could be more right? The Cynical Doctor’s Christmas Wish tells the story of Luca and Cassandra. Luca was left standing alone at the altar with the bride nowhere in sight. Can the two ever come together, or will the bitterness of their relationship ruin their lives forever? The Brooding Doctor’s Christmas Wish tells the story of Kyle and Holly. After being pushed aside as secondary, Holly left Kyle so he could focus on his career. Will the gaping hole in Kyle’s heart ever be filled since the day Holly left, or will they live separate lives as if they’ve never met?

Christmas Wish Collection by Kathleen Ryder was very magical and wonderfully written. I am a sucker for a good romance novel, and when you couple that with the spectacular Christmas season it can’t possibly get any better! I really enjoyed how each story expressed the characters’ pain and anguish, as well as the love that blossomed from overcoming their challenges, which was truly exceptional when combined with the air of Christmas. The stories were delivered concisely without lacking in their intimate and passionate aspects. Truly a joy to read!

Christmas Wish Collection is an amalgamation of four Christmas-themed romance tales written by Kathleen Ryder. "The Flying Doctor's Christmas Wish" follows best friends, Tilly and Alex. When her grandmother visits her home in Alice Springs, Tilly persuades Alex to pose as her fiance in front of her grandmother. However, Alex has feelings for her. In "The Cynical Doctor's Christmas Wish," Luca is a heartbroken man whose fiancee left him at the altar. Swearing off relationships, Luca's life turns upside down when his former flame makes an abrupt return to his life. "The Broody Doctor's Christmas Wish" is the tale of Kyle and Holly, whose relationship breaks apart due to Kyle's work-focused lifestyle. The book ends with "A Christmas Hope," where a married couple, Jack and Louise, have a strained relationship due to an unfortunate miscarriage.

Author Kathleen Ryder spreads the Christmas spirit with an engaging collection of short stories that will appeal to any fan of contemporary romance. Each story is well-paced, and it makes the narrative a breeze to go through. I gobbled it up in one sitting. Character motives and actions are realistic, and it's easy to sympathize with their changing life trajectories. Although built around the underlying theme of the Christmas spirit, each story stands on its own and offers unique aspects for the reader to enjoy. I enjoyed them all but found "A Christmas Hope" to be my personal favorite. If you're a fan of contemporary romance or Christmas-themed tales, Christmas Wish Collection is the book for you.

Christmas Wish Collection by Kathleen Ryder showcases the dreams of romance and magic everyone has for Christmas. A collection of short stories featuring four different couples who weren't looking for love outside what they already had, but struggled to fulfill their dreams of what their relationship could be. The Flying Doctor's Christmas Wish is a cozy and sweet romance. Alex and Tilly had known each other for years, but sparks flew when a pretend kiss became more. The Cynical Doctor's Christmas Wish had multiple twists when Cassandra left Luca at the altar, and for years he never looked for her. Now she works with him? The Brooding Doctor's Christmas Wish focuses on the sacrifices marriage requires and the toll it takes. A Christmas Hope is the tearjerker that leaves you with a fuzzy feeling that things finally turned around for a couple hopelessly in love, but who had lost their connection.

Kathleen Ryder strives to connect with her readers through situations you may have experienced. Christmas Wish Collection has the drama, love, and mystical hope that love will shine through at the end. This award-winning author takes her passion for romance and writes short novellas you can relate to, cry with, and rejoice over when love triumphs. The stories are short, but you felt you lived through this window in their lives. You will find the characters revolve around the Christmas season and a hospital setting. Overall, I found the unique situations the characters found themselves in are what I will remember most. I would enjoy rereading this book just because I liked each ending so much.

Christmas Wish Collection offers readers four charming Christmas novellas that can be quickly read. I enjoyed the magic of Christmas and the love flowing through each of these stories. Kathleen Ryder created four different and unique sets of characters, one set for each book, because they are all completely different.

In "The Flying Doctor’s Christmas Wish," Alex and Tilly are best friends but never dreamed they would be fake fiances one day. Pretending was difficult because they started having feelings for each other, but could this happen to best friends? There's lots of Christmas fun and laughter with the sweetest romance in Alex and Tilly's story. In "The Cynical Doctor’s Christmas Wish," Luca wants nothing to do with women after Cassandra leaves him standing at the altar, but when they both end up working at the same hospital and Cassandra doesn't recognize Luca, his life is about to change. I loved these two characters and enjoyed their story as it unfolds. There are a few surprises at the Christmas reunion.

In "The Brooding Doctor’s Christmas Wish," Kyle and Holly haven't been together for years, but Holly is back and with a son. Could this shocking news bring the two together for Christmas? It took a while for me to warm up to Kyle and Holly, but they were good people, and they had Holly's son to think about. I think Ryder does a fantastic job writing this story and weaving everything together to make it a heartwarming Christmas for everyone. I think "A Christmas Hope" was perhaps the saddest story because of Jack and Louise's terrible loss. My heart hurt for them because even though they live together, they are far apart. Again Ryder writes a heartwarming story that will have you in tears as she weaves this story together and finds healing and help with an ending that you will remember for a while.

Each of these stories by Kathleen Ryder brings hope and healing to the unique characters and often readers will have the same issues dealt with here in the stories. I like the way Ryder handles each situation. She has a really nice writing style. If you are looking for sweet reads during the Christmas holiday, I encourage you to check out Christmas Wish Collection. The stories are short and easy to read.
