Wekhi’s Backyard Science is a charming and gorgeously illustrated children’s picture book by Delores Henriques. Summer break is finally here. Young Wekhi could sleep in, play with his toys, or read his comics, but not today. Nothing compares to being in his giant red treehouse, his favorite place in the whole world, and watching the animals come to eat and play in his backyard. This time, Wekhi has a big plan to capture all the best moments from up there—everything about it is special and even more fun. Just what could Wekhi’s fanbulous idea be? Come along and find out!

In this delightful tale, an everyday visit to the backyard during summer turns into an adventure-filled and unforgettable celebration of one of nature’s most colorful seasons.
