It is Midsummer’s Eve. Dreya the Dark is excited about the prospect of reconciling with her wife, Catriona. Princess Zarinda, whose arranged marriage is a day away, is also excited because she believes Dreya will come to rescue her—a rescue already prophesied. To prevent the prophecy from coming to pass, Princess Zarinda’s father unwittingly places an important jewel in Dreya’s hands, a final missing piece of Kullos’ control device. With the jewel, The Guardians of Time and Magic—Dreya, Catriona, and Mandalee—reassemble the device and resurrect Daelen, whose help they desperately need for the upcoming challenge. Purity, the Angel behind a cosmic campaign to cleanse the universe, is headed for Tempestria. The Guardians may have faced deadly enemies before, but not one as invincible as Purity. Is there any chance they can stop her? Find out in Circular Time: The Salvation of Tempestria Book 7 by Gary Stringer.
Circular Time by Gary Stringer is an absolute treat of epic fantasy. It is always a delight diving into the Salvation of Tempestria series, and the author does not disappoint in this book. Stringer weaves an intricate tale packed with adventure, drama, sci-fi, suspense, humor, and expansive, impressive world-building. In their current quest to save Tempestria, the stakes could never be higher. The Guardians are faced with two choices, and in each, the fate of the cosmos hangs in the balance. Apart from choosing wisely, they must also rise to the challenge despite nursing broken hearts, risk their lives in dangerous, must-do rituals, and hope they make no errors as they face Purity. The balance between the cast’s personal lives and the story’s external conflict is so good that you will feel the weight of each decision and action with every flip of the page, from the start to the end. For fans of Avengers: Infinity War, this read is right up your alley. I highly recommend reading the previous installments to enjoy this page-turner. I loved it.
