Clothesline is the name of a clothing store where Kelly, Ana, and Sera work. The three young entrepreneurs put their heads together and search for a way to make some extra money. Their first endeavor was a miniVendi, and then came the Fuller Brush, door to door sales. When the first two attempts did not work out they tried a pet grooming service: Pretty Paws. Pretty Paws was fairly successful but Kelly had always dreamed of creating clothing. A chance meeting with a celebrity opens doors for the Sob Sisters.
Clothesline is a hysterically funny chick lit written by Kate Supino. It is hard to believe this is her debut novel. Supino cleverly demonstrates the dynamics of relationships between female friends. They have an extreme loyalty to each other. Supino is an artist painting characters with words. Each woman had their own distinct personality. Kelly had a wild imagination and a big heart. Sera were determined not to accept financial help from her mother, Pearl. Ana had a secret…read the book if you want to know more about the secret. Pearl and her brother Uncle Tyree were delightful characters, well developed even though they were secondary. Ian, the name says it all, an Irishman, with a strong possessive personality. What woman doesn’t want to be adored by an Irishman?
Clothesline kept me laughing out loud. The scene where the girls are trying to transport the miniVendi had me rolling on the floor. Giving Ginger a bath, I’m still laughing, if you own a cat you will understand why. I could continue but why should I; it would just spoil the fun of reading about the antics of Kelly, Sera, and Ana. Do not miss this one you will be so sorry if you do. Just think all your girls friends will be talking about the new author Kate Supino and you will feel left out. Get your copy today.
