Author Biography

Elizabeth Morgan is an American psychologist and therapist with a strong commitment to helping families navigate the complex challenges associated with the dynamics of separation and divorce. Her decades of experience in social work have enabled her to develop a unique and empathetic approach to the most sensitive situations.

Born in a small town in America, Elizabeth showed a genuine interest in understanding the human mind and the dynamics of relationships from an early age. After graduating from university with a degree in psychology, she went on to earn a doctorate in clinical psychology.

Elizabeth's passion for helping families in crisis was reinforced during her postdoctoral training. In fact, she spent a lot of time working with not-for-profit organisations supporting families at risk and parenting support programmes. This hands-on experience with people and their problems opened her eyes to the reality of complex and often destructive family dynamics.

During her career, Elizabeth has been particularly concerned with the issues of narcissism, co-dependency with a narcissist, divorce issues and the impact on the children of a divorced couple. She has developed a therapeutic approach based on emotional healing, effective communication and building healthy boundaries, particularly for families involved in conflictual separations with a narcissistic partner.

Her books are the result of her many years of direct experience. In each of her texts, Elizabeth combines her psychological knowledge with real-life examples and practical advice to help separating parents through the difficulties they face every day when dealing with narcissist.
