Coconut Secret Exposed is the work of Charles Chou who learned about the healing powers of coconut oil from a Taiwanese healer referred to as the Master. There are many anecdotes about the success her patients had with the treatment from ailments ranging from a simple cut to life-threatening diseases. From the outset of the book, Chou indicates that he will not be presenting the scientific data behind the efficacy of coconut oil as a healing force as this data can be easily found on the internet. Chou does provide links for many of the existing studies and articles by scientists and medical professionals. The Master's techniques for administering coconut oil are fully described with illustrations where necessary. Chou also discusses the different types of coconut oils available and the advantages or disadvantages of each type.

I love coconut oil and have had it in my kitchen for many years. This book was therefore intriguing and quite useful. It has information included that I have not seen elsewhere, and the appendices are top-rate. I clicked on one link concerning the anti-fungal components of coconut oil and was linked to an excellent scientific article on the subject. Chou has provided a wealth of information in this slim volume that's easily accessible and should be helpful for anyone who's interested in alternative or natural healing. If you're not into learning the science behind coconut oil's healing potential, there are plenty of anecdotal stories in the book. If you want to know the why and the how, then you'll enjoy the links.

Coconut Oil Secret Exposed: From Spiritual to Scientific Discovery is about the experiences and true stories that the author encountered about the healing effects of coconut oil that he experienced in Medan, Indonesia in 1996. He was introduced by a Taiwanese “Master” that founded a respectable religious group that used coconut oil in her treatment center to heal people that had varying degrees of illnesses and diseases. The people of Indonesia believed that the healing power of coconut oil was from the Goddess of Mercy, Guanyin so that it was safe to consume it in large quantities. This book reveals the secret power of coconut oil and how it will heal many ailments, diseases, illnesses, and more; according to your individual body’s needs.

Author Charles Chou writes with a simple, straight forward style that chronicles his personal accounts of the healing properties of coconut oil. It’s up to the reader to decide if they want to try it for themselves as he writes that he is here only to reveal the secrets to us and that it also takes faith to work. This is a very interesting concept as the author does cite some sources, but does not cite any scientific studies to support his claims. Many readers may find his claims outrageous, but I like to try things out before making judgement. Western medicine does not have all the answers and there are so many unanswered questions out there to the benefits of homeopathic and alternative medicine. Coconut Oil Secret Exposed is worth a read if you are open to new forms of medicine.
