Cook + Cork (A Chef and a Sommelier Spill the Secrets of Food and Wine Pairing) by Harry Mills and Chris Horn is more than just a cook book or information on wine and the complicated art of pairing, it is a course in book form. I know a little about wine and food pairings, so I thought the book would be a fun read. I was in for a surprise! The book is entertaining, but it is also an intense tutorial in the more crucial aspects of food vs. wine. By the completion of this book, I am confident that I can order a glass of wine with the best of them or discuss and purchase the correct elixir for my dinner party. I cannot recommend this book enough! I loved this book. It was informative, inspiring, and humorous. I can hardly wait to go shopping. If you are looking for a comprehensive study in food and wine pairing, or just want to know your way around a bottle of wine, then this book is for you!
