Creager: The Triggers in His Mind Saga by L Hanson follows a high-stakes manhunt and law enforcement operation after a violent airplane hijacking enables Yul Granich, a dangerous criminal with cartel connections, to escape custody. Granich immediately moves to consolidate his power, enforce control over associates, and orchestrate crimes that include kidnappings, ritualistic murders, and thefts linked to organized crime. Detective Benjamin Creager, FBI agents, tribal police, and other investigators track multiple overlapping threats, including missing teens, stolen cargo, mercenary attacks, and coordinated robberies targeting jewelry stores. As Granich’s network and hired operatives—like Darling and her mercenary team—carry out violent actions against law enforcement and civilians, Creager and the federal team uncover connections to cartel operations, Aryan Brotherhood activity, and international criminal actors like the Yakuza. Simultaneously, the story follows separate investigators tracing high-value thefts and murders across state lines, linking them back to Granich’s criminal empire while law enforcement races to prevent further deaths and secure key witnesses.

Creager: The Triggers in His Mind Saga by L Hanson is a really exciting suspense thriller, and the third book in the Creager Adventure series, but it does read perfectly well as a standalone. Hanson does an exceptional job of mounting a sprawling investigation that moves across Las Vegas, Phoenix, tribal lands, and international networks. There are so many moving pieces, with Creager coordinating overlapping cases, linking robberies, bomb threats, and syndicate activity, while Leilani pursues intersecting leads, and Brown manages public recognition alongside his own private strain. The tribal aspects are the most interesting to me, particularly the characters of Chief Niwot and Hosa Sam, who are central to events on the reservations. Hanson leans into the real-world issues of murders and disappearances in tribal communities, which also influence the trajectory of multiple investigations. There are no filler subplots, and every event triggers a chain of consequences, connecting locations, agencies, and characters through tangible cause-and-effect. The result is a methodical and fast-paced installment that drives both the story and characters. Very highly recommended.

Creager: The Triggers in His Mind Saga by L. Hanson is the third book in the Creager Adventure Sagas. Detective Creager’s longtime nemesis, Yul Granich, escapes from custody during his extradition from Canada to the United States. The JPATS jet transporting him disappears over the mountains, and Creager cannot shake off the memory of Granich’s chilling promise of revenge. Granich vowed to make Creager and FBI Agent Rob Harmon pay for dismantling his criminal empire and to destroy everything and everyone Creager holds dear. Granich hired mercenaries to take revenge and eliminate Creager and Agent Harmon. To the mercenaries, a target is simply a target, regardless of whether they are law enforcement or not. A death threat emerges against members of the Bedford Police Department and the FBI, and the authorities discover that the conspirators have enough explosives and incendiary devices to destroy large sections of the town. Can Detective Creager and Agent Harmon stop Granich’s reign of terror before it is too late?

Creager: The Triggers in His Mind Saga by L. Hanson is a thrilling roller coaster of fear, danger, and suspense. The action started from the very first page and never let up. The story was fast-paced and gripping, and kept me hooked from start to finish. The unexpected twists and turns had me on the edge of my seat, eagerly turning the pages, afraid to miss a single moment. The writing style was engaging and drew me deep into Creager and Agent Harmon’s relentless battle against Granich. The characters were well-developed and realistic, each with a background that added depth and purpose to the plot. The book was brilliantly written, holding my attention from beginning to end. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of this intense, action-packed read.

L. Hanson's Creager: The Triggers in His Mind Saga is an exhilarating crime thriller that revolves around a strong-willed detective, Benjamin Creager. Benjamin's nemesis is a dangerous narcissist named Yul Granich, who escapes the custody of a security agency while being transported from Canada to America. Granich receives help and protection from a powerful cartel, leaving few leads for the authorities to follow. Meanwhile, Granich is out for revenge! He blames Creager and an FBI agent named Rob Harmon for the downfall of his criminal empire. Thus, he targets Creager, Harmon, and their loved ones. In light of a series of ritualistic crimes and disappearances that occur on an Indian Reservation, it is up to Creager to bring Granich to justice. Can he complete his mission before his enemies destroy everything he loves?

Creager: The Triggers in His Mind Saga by L. Hanson is an exciting combination of police work, personal challenges, and the fight against corruption in law enforcement agencies. It has the perfect blend of action, suspense, and adventure that will keep you on your toes. Creager's journey highlights the difficulties of detective work, especially when different authorities—including legal and law enforcement forces—have internal conflicts. Moreover, the story realistically explores themes of loyalty and honor, revealing that not everyone who takes the oath to protect and serve their country can be trusted to do the right thing. Of all the characters in the book, the protagonist captured my attention the most. He shows consistent resilience even in the face of increasing danger. Yet, he manages to confront his enemies while remaining whole. Creager's unyielding courage makes this novel a worthwhile read.

Creager: The Triggers in His Mind Saga by L Hanson is the third book in the Creager Adventure Saga. It follows Detective Benjamin Creager as his life spirals into danger once again. His old enemy, Yul Granich—a crazed narcissistic psychopath—escapes custody during a prisoner transport gone wrong. Granich receives help from a criminal cartel and other corrupt individuals and plans to take revenge on Creager, the FBI agent who brought him down. Creager is determined to protect his wife and infant daughter while being pulled into a dangerous web of crime and deceit. Meanwhile, several disappearances and ritualistic events occur on an Indian Reservation. Creager works with Detective Kalie Leilani, FBI Agent Rob Harmon, and Agent Brown to restore order to the chaos that unfolds. Can Creager stop Granich before it's too late?

L Hanson’s Creager is a gripping novel that combines nonstop action, suspense, and mystery. What makes the story so gripping is how real and human the characters feel. Creager isn’t a perfect hero. He is, in fact, a man who tries his hardest to balance duty, fear, and love for his family while battling danger, corruption, and evil on every side. Through Creager's POV, Hanson reveals that personal sacrifice is often attached to public service. Creager shows the huge emotional responsibility involved in protecting others. The novel also does a great job of highlighting themes like justice and morality. It reminds me that the line between right and wrong can blur when systems fail. In this sense, the author paints a realistic picture of law enforcement, where power struggles and ethical conflicts can collide. Overall, this novel is a captivating look at Creager as he fights to stay true to his principles even when his situation looks bleak. It's an engaging and intriguing novel. Highly recommended.

Creager: The Triggers In His Mind Saga by L. Hanson is an exciting crime drama that follows Detective Creager and his team. Creager has just learned that the man he helped arrest, Yul Granich, has escaped police custody and may be seeking revenge on him and his team. He regrets not killing Granich when he had the chance, as now that he is a father, he fears Yul might come after his baby and wife. The team welcomes Detective Leilani from Hawaii, who quickly proves her exceptional skills and gets along well with everyone. However, her past case has put her in danger, as enemies are now hunting her. Throughout the investigation, the team tackles various issues, including rituals, missing persons cases, and corrupt chiefs on the Native American reservation. They also deal with a string of jewelry thefts and make questionable deals, all while knowing that a group of mercenaries from Yul is in town, targeting them.

Creager: The Triggers In His Mind Saga is the third book in this series, but it can be read as a standalone. L. Hanson does an excellent job of updating readers on previous events and reintroducing characters and locations with a detailed glossary. What I appreciated most about this book is how it seamlessly weaves the personal lives of the characters into the investigative drama, making it easy for readers to connect with Creager and his colleagues. Creager’s home life and Brown’s health problems are relatable, everyday issues that add depth to the story. I enjoyed the camaraderie among the team and how each member played their role perfectly. The story explores various themes, such as the use of beliefs to manipulate people and the moral dilemmas of tainting one's soul to protect loved ones. I’m curious about future installments in this saga and wonder if the mercenaries will make another appearance, as they have intriguing backgrounds and connections to Creager’s acquaintances. Overall, this is an entertaining read, and I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys action-packed dramas with morally complex characters.
