Zoe and her sister were raised by a single mom and never really had much. Their mother did her best but finances had always been tight. Zoe worked very hard in school and got the opportunity to go to college to become a nurse. She was determined to make a better life for herself and not end up like her mother. She was helping her sister to go down the same path and get a post-secondary education as well. She also made sure that they both took careful precautions against an unwanted pregnancy derailing their plans. Zoe had learned from her mother’s mistakes and would not repeat them. That was before she met Mike though. A whirlwind romance sends Zoe barreling down a path that she had tried her whole life to avoid but she was helpless to stop it; she was falling for him hard and fast.
Crazy Hearts: A Secret Billionaire Surprise Baby Romance by Annabeth Saryu is a very engaging and well-written sizzling romance. I read it all in one day because I just couldn’t stop reading. I wanted to keep going to find out what would happen to Zoe and Mike next. I found myself rooting for both of them and wanting to strangle Mike’s horrible sister Janet. The characters were well developed and believable and their interactions were engaging. I really think that this author is very talented. I would like to read more books written by Annabeth Saryu.
