Death in Love is a supernatural romance novella by Bianca Scharff. Lydia can't help but feel she was saved by someone despite witnesses insisting that she fell during the shootout. Meanwhile, it was none other than Death who saved her life. Michael administers deaths and sends souls to the other side. However, upon finding Lydia, he refuses to take her life and falls in love with her, much to the chagrin of his boss, Azrael. Now, the balance of the world is off-kilter, and the city's inhabitants are succumbing to odd events. With Lydia's death already approved, can Michael let her go? Will Lydia and Michael end up together?
A seamless blend of romance and mystery makes Death in Love a delicious treat you don't want to miss. Bianca Scharff offers readers a captivating love story with an intriguing paranormal twist that gets its hooks into you from the first page and keeps you entertained until the last. Scharff's writing style and the easygoing narrative make for a relaxing read, and you don't really want to put the book down before finishing it. Michael and Lydia's relationship is at the heart of the story, and the main characters' personalities complement each other, creating some palpable chemistry.
