Veronica has a different kind of lifestyle; she is happily married to her husband Joe but has a strong addiction. She is addicted to having sexual affairs, not because she doesn’t love her husband, but because it is a craving she cannot control. After years of therapy, nothing has filled the hole of emptiness she feels inside, though jumping into bed with a hot new fling seems to quiet that need. Joe understands they have a “don’t ask, don’t tell” agreement. When she meets Andrew at a local store and he handcuffs her to a cart, a flame of need is ignited inside Veronica. When Andrew tells her he is a dream-walker, they dive into bed for something more intimate than sex, but what happens when Andrew wakes up and Veronica is gone?

Dream by Robbi Sommers Bryant is intriguing. I admire her imagination to be able to create some of the details in the dream world and bring them to life through text. The spark between Andrew and Veronica was instant, and I could almost feel the energy between them vibrating off my Kindle. At one point, I found myself questioning which realm was actually the dream. The jaw-dropping ending was the perfect amount of cliffhanging closure to bring it back together, but it left me wondering. Will Veronica ever head back into the dream world and attempt to conquer Feronia? Will Andrew ever try to see her again? I will not be complaining if there is to be a sequel soon!
