When JW Radford was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, he was forced to retire for medical reasons. Over the coming months, he tried to be the version of himself that everyone expected: a calm and stoic man. But his circumstances led him to understand that he shouldn't waste time pretending to be someone he wasn't, because his dreams were too big to ignore, so he decided to be himself and pursue his goals. He is now a business consultant and is dedicated to helping both companies and individuals overcome their obstacles. I loved JW Radford’s writing style because he speaks warmly and naturally. It feels like listening to a friend telling his story and sharing life advice, while the topics he addresses are inspiring, such as discovering our inner fire or striking a balance between work and passion. He shows us how our desires drive us to pursue those activities that make time fly by. Also, his perspective is realistic. He says that authenticity isn’t about appearing perfect, but about acknowledging that we’re imperfect, complex, and still learning. He also talks about perseverance, sharing ideas designed to help us identify what’s been holding us back and see what changes we can make to improve. Driven by Desire: The Path to Unstoppable Success encourages us to dream big and follow our true desires.
