In Food for Soul: A Couple’s Inner and Outer Journey toward Living Fully, Jessica Iachia crafts a memoir that is filled with insights and lessons on personal growth and the art of growing in love and living fully and purposefully. She tells her story, starting with her dreams, her marriage to Antonio, and the grief over the passing of her mother. The couple makes a bold decision to leave their corporate careers in London and go on a 12-month, one-way journey around the globe. Their odyssey takes them through the bustling streets of India, the calm monasteries of the Himalayas, the jungles of the Amazon, and the markets of Southeast Asia. The author shares the lessons learned from each experience, showing readers how every stop opens a portal into the soul, a breath of life, an inspiration.

Food for Soul shows how the physical travels of these two people changed the inner landscapes of their hearts and souls. It is a book about healing, starting over, exploring, and discovering purpose. The chapters are thematic, and each of them translates a symbolic action that reveals the spiritual wisdom hidden in the adventure. Concepts like “Jump,” “Integration,” and “Awakening” take on new meanings and depth in this narrative. Jessica Iachia taught me lessons about healing from grief, the courage to redesign one’s life, and the liberating power of finding one’s purpose. The author brings healing tools like the chakra work, meditation, and Ayurveda into the writing and melds them with Antonio’s creative passion and culinary wisdom, showing the link between physical well-being and spiritual growth. The book is filled with insights, love, and an energy that will undoubtedly rub off on any reader.
