Hacking Kickstarter, Indiegogo: How to Raise Big Bucks in 30 Days by Patrice Williams Marks comes with a warning: Do not launch your crowd-funding project before reading this book. No one should entertain the notion of funding a project with any crowd-funding group before they grab this pivotal resource. Marks says your project must include the following: 1). A video discussing the details of the project. 2). A website that can be bought for $8 from Godaddy.com and a newsletter from WordPress. 3). Include a video with crisp pictures and the Kickstarter logo on the home page. 4). Include one-of-a-kind perks/rewards – people want one-of-a-kind goodies. You will also learn why you should avoid minimum rewards amounts, the trick to letting people know who you are, the importance of setting the optimum closing date and much more. Heed Marks’ tips and ensure your project’s success.
