There are so many conspiracy theories that it can be difficult to remember each one but the reptile people are one of the most memorable. Jenny Twist's Hidden Agenda details what would happen if alien reptiles took over the world right under our noses. Twist fuses current affairs with this conspiracy to narrate the story. It follows world leaders like Boris Johnson who has to be replaced with another alien because the first alien version gets infected with the coronavirus. The aliens send progress reports to their home planet. They face challenges, such as people recognizing them, but they continue their mission of world domination.
Hidden Agenda will make you think twice about the people in government and decision-making positions. Did you vote for an alien? Are the elections rigged in their favor, and what is their ultimate goal? Jenny Twist gives good reasons why this story is plausible. Humans have no unity and disagree on many things. Aliens can easily use this to their advantage and take over by turning governments against each other. The aliens in this story do not arrive in their spaceships; instead, they take over gradually, which is a smart move. The story is beautifully written and easy to follow. All the characters are perfectly described and have familiar personalities, yet it is easy to differentiate alien behavior from that of humans. Whatever your views may be on alien conspiracies, I recommend this book either to fuel your suspicion or for its entertainment value; the choice is yours. Great story.
