In Holindrian and The Human Revolution by Macaulay Christian, the first cataclysm that drove people from Earth to Eridu was fire and ash. The second exodus was caused by water. The survival of humans was made possible by Enkirus who knew how vortices could be found to cross great tracts of land quickly and also had the help of the Anunna-Ki. The humans toiled to build great civilizations in Eridu until the Industrialization Wars brought the fifth age with its prosperity to an abrupt end. What followed was domination by the Baltutu with their new world order in an attempt to create order. Their order came at a great cost to the humans with suppression and things like public humiliation. How will things turn out?
Holindrian and The Human Revolution by Macaulay Christian is wonderfully written, and once you start reading it, there is no putting the book down. I loved the excellent narration which captured my imagination as the chronological events unfolded. The reader will also appreciate how vividly Macaulay described various events. He provides in-depth details of accounts and names, which ensures no room for confusion for the reader. This thought-provoking work also gets one thinking about the causes of war and its true cost to civilization. Other topics covered that are eye-catching are climate change and its impacts if not mitigated, technology, and space travel. This was a great read with an informative message about things that are already occurring in our world and the role we all have to play. I look forward to reading something else by Macaulay Christian.
