Have you ever wondered what it would have been like if you had lived in the Middle Ages? If You Were Me and Lived in... the Middle Ages by Carole P. Roman is an educational children's book that will teach you everything you've ever wanted to know about that time in history. Where did they live? What did their houses look like? What was their work? What did they eat? What did they do for fun? What did they wear? This book will take you on a fun adventure through time, and will make you feel like you were really there, and will make you feel like you actually lived in the Middle Ages.
I really enjoyed reading If You Were Me and Lived in... the Middle Ages by Carole P. Roman. The book is very well written and descriptive. I liked how most of the book was written in second person perspective, making you really feel you are there. The book will make learning about the Middle Ages fun. I liked how, at the back of the book, there is a list of famous people who lived then. The book is very engaging and exciting. I liked how the book always showed how to pronounce words that children may be unfamiliar with. The pictures by Mateya Arkova are amazingly drawn and beautiful, and help to depict what the Middle Ages looked like. The descriptions are very vivid, as are the scenes. I would definitely recommend this book to everyone, especially school age students.
