I'll Be Right There by Jonathan J. Marshall is an adorable story that captures the bonding between a father and son, and it also shows how the father is there for the little boy when he gets scared in the night. The father comforts his son, saying he will always be there for him when he has a fright at night, or if he hears a thump on the floor. The father reassures him, saying that no matter what he is doing and where he is, the little boy just needs to call out his name and he will be right there. If he is having bad, creepy, and sad dreams, he just needs to yell out 'Dad' and his dad will be there.
The concept is beautiful and it applies to all parents who want to remind and reassure their kids that they are always there for them. Julia Orthey gives clarity to the concept with her charming illustrations that breathe life into the characters and the scenes, making them palpable to readers. There is an element of comfort and peace that runs through the story that will give children faith and confidence in their parents and their support whenever required. I'll Be Right There by Jonathan J. Marshall is good for children to read. Tutors and parents can use it for storytelling and read-aloud sessions in classrooms and at home to make children realize that their parents will be there for them during times of need, especially when they are scared.
