While a terrorist faction prepares to release a deadly lab-created virus, law enforcement scrambles to locate the canisters of the lethal concoction before they detonate their poisonous contents in the thrilling paranormal mystery, Infection in the Mind (Doctor Wise: Book 10) by Arjay Lewis. Leonard Wise is a psychic and professor of parapsychology who works with the Mountainview Police Department to solve complex cases. While recuperating from recent surgery, Leonard receives a call from his friend Lieutenant McGee. A white supremacist group is planning on infecting the region with a deadly virus, and the FBI New Jersey Task Force has requested their help in hunting down and neutralizing the canisters containing the contagion. However, when Leonard astral projects to the leader's location, a woman sees his etheric figure and knocks Leonard's astral form back into his body. Leonard is shocked and confused by the event, but that isn't even the worst thing that occurs. With the clock ticking and time running out, Leonard sends a SWAT team to the wrong location, resulting in his prompt removal from the case. Although no longer working with the team, Leonard doggedly continues his search. Can he find the terrorists or the canisters before someone is infected? Or will they all be too late?
