In an interesting and well-researched book, Jehovah's Witnesses Exposed!: What Really Goes On Inside the Kingdom Hall Walls, author Eugene Walker has provided his readers with a compelling argument against joining the Jehovah's Witness religion. Following a well organized and clearly laid out style, the book offers what seem to be sound examples and reasoning for the author's thoughts. Personal experiences by both himself and others provide the background for the book, and topics as varied as child molestation within the church, depression, suicide, false prophecies, disfellowship and shunning, standing before the judicial committee, cults, and how to break free from fear-based religions are discussed. Readers, especially those with little understanding or exposure to this religion, will come away from this book with many examples of the negative aspects of being a Jehovah's Witness.

This was definitely a thought provoking read. I knew very little about this faith, although I was always interested in exactly what its practitioners believed in, and I came away from Jehovah's Witnesses Exposed! feeling like I had learned a great deal. Author Eugene Walker clearly has a passion for warning people against joining the Jehovah's Witnesses, and provides quite the argument to back up his thoughts. This book reads easily, and provides a great deal of information in a well-laid out fashion. Any reader who has an interest in learning more about the Jehovah's Witnesses from those with personal experiences with this religion should consider reading this book. It provides a wealth of information that is unlikely to be easily attained elsewhere.
