Jesper Jinx Goes Fishing (Volume 4) by Marko Kitti is a collection of stories about 11-year-old Jesper Jinx and his wonderfully wacky adventures. Jesper Jinx is bored. In order to alleviate his boredom, Jesper Jinx goes through an entire series of adventures.

First, he spies on his arch enemy (and sister) Melinda, trying to discover the mysterious secrets she kept behind her locked door (which may or may not involve her kissing one of Jesper Jinx's close friends). The second story involves Jesper Jinx becoming a detective as he tries to catch Oliver and Melinda red handed in their new relationship. Jesper Jinx doesn't want to lose his friend forever, so he feels it is his duty to break the two up. But all he manages to do is drop his teacher's pet ferret Fernando into the water. Jesper Jinx realizes he may have misunderstood his friend's intentions with his sister, but now it is too late to undo the fact that he's lost his teacher's pet!

This is such a cute and clever story. I loved the little drawings that went along with the story and I think other readers will appreciate the humor within the different parts of the story. I loved how the different parts all tied together, and were very funny and entertaining.
