"Just enough Jesus to get me into heaven, but not enough to make me uncomfortable with my life," is exactly what Russell and Neely Heil are attempting to overcome with Just Enough Jesus. Most of us settle for the very minimum of almost everything in our lives, including our faith. That attitude of minimalism comes from a variety of sources that all fit into an attitude of doing just enough to skate by. What we are missing, however, is the richness that is ours in our faith when we turn our focus to Just Jesus. Russell and Neely focus on 10 different areas of our lives as they walk the reader through the Just Jesus model of faith. By using the example of Jesus' character and the focus on His purpose, Russell and Neely show their readers how to follow that same model and begin to see increase in their lives.
Just Enough Jesus is a guide to Christian living that has the potential of enriching your lives in every aspect. I say potential, because the words, the examples and the steps for living in increase are all there; it requires actions on the part of the reader for it to completely take root. Russell and Neely have laid out very sound Biblical principles that were modeled by our savior in His daily walk on earth. Following after the example of Christ and going well beyond a minimalist faith, Just Enough Jesus can take you to a state of increase in your faith and allow you to partake in the joy and richness that Jesus has to offer. If you want more from your faith and abundance in your life, then Just Enough Jesus is definitely for you.
