Author Biography

Hello, I’m Raz Mihal, the author of Just Love Her. My journey as a modern hermit has led me to a deep connection with the world, yet I strive to live beyond its conventional boundaries.

In my work, I explore divine love as a reflection of our souls—a force transcending physical and societal limits. Raz Mihal weaves the theme of divine love into his contemplations in Just Love Her: A Poetic and Inspirational Journey into Love's Divine Essence. It is a tale of unrequited love, a story of a heart that yearns and a flame of love that never dies. The author explores divine love through his experiences with an enigmatic and at times ethereal soul that he refers to as “Her”, who remains beyond his reach. He pursues his yearnings through meditations and visits South Korea to explore a past spiritual connection. While his quest may form the subject matter, there is so much more. The book explores love, the nature of our being, and what love means to us. It separates earthly and thus romantic love from the divine, spiritual love that transcends time and space. As many readers will know, popular culture distorts romantic love and it can often be fickle. This gives rise to false expectations and possible disappointment or rejection that can leave deep emotional scars. Conversely, divine love is the connection between two souls and elevates love to the level of Godliness. It opens the door to spiritual enlightenment and is a feeling that can and should be embodied. The author cautions that not everybody is ready for that experience. Ultimately, it leads to a love of all creation.

Just Love Her contains so many lessons, and Raz Mihal asks searching questions about who we are, what we believe in, and how we perceive love. Do we let love govern our being to the exclusion of reason and the point of unhealthy obsession? Do we seek in others what we lack in ourselves? The author reflects on his constant struggle between the mind, emotions, and the soul. “Her” takes on many forms that flow over into past lives. She comes to represent divine love, the feminine divine, and the goddess. As the title suggests, we should simply love unconditionally, together or apart, and not intellectualize the process or ask too many questions. The writing is eloquent, poetic, and charming. It encapsulates life lessons, philosophical concepts, and spiritual growth. There are so many other aspects that they cannot all be mentioned. The book should be read mindfully and slowly, looking for the deeper meanings. Readers will enjoy sharing the author’s wistful and at times troubled journey. It contrasts joy and sorrow, love and hope. Sometimes we have to let go. In the end, like the author, we will be left with the experience. As he sagely observes, we learn from suffering. Hopefully, this will bring insight and ultimately inspiration. The book is most suitable for those familiar with the esoteric topics covered. It is a deeply profound work and highly recommended. A thought-provoking work with a unique approach.

Raz Mihal's Just Love Her takes readers on a poetic odyssey of love and divine enlightenment. Drawing inspiration from his own life experiences, Mihal embarks on a spiritual journey that bridges the realms of love and divinity. The book is a collection of poetic reflections and observations penned since 2019, and they delve into the feelings and thoughts of the author about someone he introduces in the narrative as "Her." From exploring the pangs of longing to finding common ground with another soul despite differences in culture, language, and traditions, these meditations cover a broad range of emotions and touch upon the concepts of free will and predestination, asking the question, "Where does our destiny lie?" The author favors surrendering to the idea of divine love.

Just Love Her is an inspirational poetic memoir as well as a thought-provoking exploration of human purpose, spirituality, and destiny. It's an inspiring work of literature that pushes the boundaries of your imagination and encourages you to embrace the process of never-ending enlightenment. Through poetic anecdotes of his life, including a trip from the airport in Paris to Seoul, where he realized his dreams, Mihal paints a vivid tapestry of his experiences in search of self-discovery, seeking to attain a higher state of consciousness. These poetic meditations also feature memories of self and traverse past lives and alternate realities inside dreams and visions. The abstract nature of Mihal's writing leaves a lot for interpretation, and it makes you think about the book long after you've finished reading. Overall, I found it very moving and, at times, even profound. Recommended to readers who enjoy stimulating books on philosophy and spirituality.

Just Love Her by Raz Mihal stands out as a thought-provoking exercise of the spiritual exploration of Divine Love as a reflection of the soul. The author narrates his story as “Myself” and invites readers to see beyond the physical with visions of the eternal that bind us to the universe. As “Myself”, he feels a compelling and compassionate force, which is Divine Love, emerging as energy into Her soul, and He becomes Her. The echo of feelings mixed with the vibration and frequency of thoughts melt both souls to live for the other, to give birth to a new entity created by infinite love, which is the most intimate and blissful experience of their love. He and She instantly connect at a place where the touch of past lives and future or alternate realities of life exist. Raz always dreamt of retiring from this world to be a hermit, staying in monasteries, and ultimately thinking of a religious life before accomplishing the Divine Love experience that would change his life completely. This practice of Divine Love has been his daily meditation for years to reach a divine state through awareness and consciousness. Nowadays he considers himself a modern hermit living in the world, yet not entirely in this world.

Just Love Her takes us on a journey into love’s Divine Essence through meditation and walking on the same paths and tasting the same existence as Her in the real world. Just Love Her is a passage into a profound awareness of love. It reveals how our earthly passions are but reflections of a greater Divine Love. Raz Mihal invites readers into self-discovery and inner transformation. He opens visions and dreams through intense adoration and shows how devotion provides a new way to reflect on our emotions and experiences. Readers who seek a deeper, more reflective exploration of Divine Love from a spiritual and philosophical perspective will gain enlightenment. As a lover of words, I appreciated the beautifully crafted narrative and poetic images. It is a flight into a vision created with imagination and feeling, offering a unique and inspirational read that leads to meaningful engagement and discussions that resonate beyond the physical world. It delves into meaningful sensations, the beauty of love, the greatness of nature, and the enlightened path for our souls.

Just Love Her by Raz Mihal is Mihal's spiritual account of the transformative nature of love, personified in the figure he simply refers to as "Her." The overriding commentary centers on Mihal’s exploration of a deep connection that transcends time, space, and physical presence. He shares how this love serves as both a guiding force and a source of inner conflict, driving him to reconcile his emotional yearnings with the rational constraints of the mind. As Mihal works his feelings, he tussles with the dualities of existence—joy and longing, materialism and spirituality—ultimately arriving at the realization that genuine love is both a divine energy and a path to enlightenment. Mihal's revelations evolve through his introspective journey, culminating in a deeper understanding of the soul's eternal quest for connection and fulfillment through the essence of love itself.

In Just Love Her: A Journey into Love's Divine Essence, Raz Mihal does well in delivering a series of messages through pieces that are short enough to allow a reader to comprehend them comfortably. I did have a little bit of a slow start, mostly because I went into the work blindly, but was able to catch on and be taken for a beautifully reflective ride relatively quickly. I really appreciate Mihal's ability to express heartfelt thoughts and feelings in a way that resonates deeply, and, as a result, invites readers to contemplate their own experiences with love and connection. I found that Mihal's choice of formatting was effective and his unique way of articulating a concept that is likely to be foreign to many was the best possible delivery. His perspective and philosophical musings make this book a must-read for anyone seeking to understand the deeper dimensions of love. Recommended.
