Kate the Kitty Beats Boredom is a very creative book that teaches children how to keep a positive attitude about household chores. Here is the story of Kate and her friend Billy. They are two kids who want to play, but in the day there are responsibilities to take care of. Can we be responsible and have fun at the same time? Of course we can, and they will show us how. Picking up toys or setting the table can become a very entertaining game if we use creativity. It's up to us to have a good day, and it's very interesting to find ways to make it happen. In this story, Kristine Hokstad-Myzyri teaches us to use our imagination in a positive way in a story from which many lessons can be learned.
I liked how friendship and a positive attitude are present all the time. These are very good examples for children. Kate the Kitty Beats Boredom teaches how to carry out the activities of the day in a better way. Its visual aspect is very pleasing. I also liked the narration because in a few words it gives very useful advice. The story is fun and entertaining. The best part is that by seeing everyday situations in the book, children can be encouraged to follow suit. This book shows the proper use of imagination to do any activity with enthusiasm. I enjoyed seeing the love and dedication that Kristine Hokstad-Myzyri put into this story, considering the wellbeing of the children while giving them a lesson that will always be useful to them.
