The story kicks off quickly when James King, a former CIA operative turned semi-private assassin, is assigned a mission to kill a man. However, something feels off about the assignment, and James—nicknamed Blade for his skill with knives—senses that something is wrong. With the help of a former teammate, Mickey, Blade soon discovers that he has been set up, and he is the real target. The pressing questions are why this is happening and who is behind it. In an unlikely alliance with his intended target, Blade and his allies engage in a deadly game of cat and mouse, where both hunters and the hunted become mere pawns.
Action-packed, tense, and infused with a touch of mystery, King's Blade by Dennis Collins is a thriller centered around an intriguing conspiracy.
