David Eckman draws from his own experiences and those of others in Knowing the Heart of the Father. He begins his book by explaining why God is worthy of being called Father.
Eckman explains four experiences that are essential to living a full Christian life.
1. Sense and know that you have a loving Heavenly Father.
2. Know that the Father loves you, cares about you, and enjoys you.
3. The Father sees you differently than you see yourself.
4. “Who you are is more important to Him than what you do.”
The Trinity is a difficult topic to explain; Eckman explains it in simple easy-to-understand terms. He offers hope and encouragement. Our earthly parents are not capable of meeting all our needs even when they try. However, our Heavenly Father will meet all of our needs. When we embrace our Heavenly Father, we find a full life, joy, a sense of affection, a fuller understanding of the hope of the resurrection, and a desire to serve God by serving others.
I found the last chapter very interesting and helpful. Knowing the Heart of the Father is a book that will bless readers.
