I had the pleasure of reviewing Betty Collier's book, Angel In My Room, and was absolutely pleased with the outcome of that book. She truly touched the heart from the start and kept it locked in a gripping manner until the end. So, taking the chance on another of her books, I dived right in with a smile on my face, and hope in my heart. Once again, my heart was filled and the message was extremely moving.

This book is not your everyday read. It's far from it. It's a wonderfully amazing story of Ms. Collier's walk with God. It's her living testimony, her daily struggles, her daily acceptance that she is walking with her Father.

Ms. Collier's testimony is told with exuberance and love, helping people to understand that there will be trials along the way, but having faith and hope in your heart will help you to over come any obstacle. From her ups and downs with her high school boyfriend, to marrying him, and living life as a wife, to work and pregnancy and family, Ms. Collier shares tragedies, and milestones.

I loved the way Ms. Collier presented the book in a heart felt way. She doesn't preach, or talk down to her readers. She shares with them. She helps them embrace their hope and faith in a new way. With humorous moments here and there, Ms. Collier keeps the book engaging for her readers, as she tells her story.

I definitely recommend that you take a moment or two of your time and grab a copy of this book. Though humorous at times, and a fast paced read, this is not a book that should be taken lightly. It's anything but that, and will keep your wheels turning and your heart filled. Amazing job, Ms. Collier!

This is a heartfelt personal testimony from a Christian woman and her hope to share it with others. When we have a personal testimony of something that has made us different in a happy way, we want to share it with any who may want to hear it. This book has done a great job of keeping this point of view in mind and, without force, lets others see and feel her spiritual journey.

In this book Betty Collier says, “I am not a pastor, preacher, teacher, missionary, minister, or evangelist. I’m just an ordinary person, living an ordinary life, giving my testimony. My testimony is no different from millions of others. However, as a Christian, I am a witness for Jesus Christ, and am therefore obligated to share the gospel of Jesus with whoever will listen. I will do so very boldly through this venue.”

A strong belief comes from the heart, not the mind. In this book you will find and feel the reality that we belong to our creator and that when we turn our lives to Him, we are better than when we exist alone. There is a higher place where He wants us to be if we just let Him in.

This is a very easy reading book that will inspire the reader to see the many ways that God has helped us throughout our life. It will help you see your life in a very different and better way. The reader will find a clean, positive, uplifting and great read. It does not push any particular religion, just pure old-fashioned Christianity and how much we should thank our creator for what we have. It is great reading for Christians no matter what religion they belong to.

Betty Collier has a story to tell, and that story is how God brought she and her husband together. In the beginning of the book we read about a typical high school love affair of first loves. It was so on again, off again that when William was tragically injured, she only heard that he was in the hospital from a brother that was home for a visit. Not knowing how her ex-boyfriend would react, she had to go to the hospital to see him, and that visit started their love affair that is still going on today. Betty uses the pages of this book to give her personal testimony of just what God has done in her life, and what He can and will do in the lives of every believer that will let Him. As Betty says, “As a Christian, I am a witness for Jesus Christ, and am therefore obligated to share the gospel of Jesus with whoever will listen.” That not only applies for Betty Collier, it is the same for every Christian living today.

This is a wonderful testimony of how God leads His children in every area of their lives. You will laugh and cry with Betty as you read the pages of this book. You will also hurt with her as she tells of their struggles, and you will rejoice with her as God continues to work in the life of her family. Throughout her book, Betty lets the reader know that what they have is through Christ alone and not anything she or her husband did.

The book ends with God’s plan of Salvation, simply explained, and Betty’s hope is that those who are not Christians will find a relationship with Jesus. This would be a wonderful book for young couples, but just as wonderful for those of us who have been married for more years that we can ever believe! It will be well worth your read.

Living Inside the Testimony by Betty Collier was written from her heart. This small book is filled with anecdotes that will leave the readers feeling encouraged. The first thing I noticed about this book is the cover; it was easy to recognize the open hands inviting the reader in just as Christ holds out his open hands to each of us. MS Collier began her book with a story concerning her “future” husband. This was definitely my favorite of the whole book. I could easily relate to the tale because my husband was my first love too. We also were middle school age when we noticed each other for the first time. I truly believe God intended us to be together. I’ve always heard that some people have to be hit up the side of the head with a 2x4 before they will listen; apparently it took a pool stick to get Betty and William’s attention. They were both blessed that William lived and they have a happy life together grounded in Christ. Betty continues by sharing letters to her first child, her desperation for a second and moving into their dream home.

Living Inside the Testimony demonstrates that God has a plan for our life. He cares about every aspect of our life from what we consider the mundane events to the major ones. We should turn to him in every matter. Betty’s book clearly demonstrates a life filled with love for the Lord. Her book offers hope, faith, encouragement and love. She cleverly combines, humor, romance, and inspiration. I am glad I read Living Inside the Testimony.
