Did you know who holds the dangerous secrets of London? The tales of royals, Shakespeare, and whispers even the dead cannot tell. Unbeknownst to you, they hide away their true form, watching and remembering the days of your life, celebrating and mourning, seeking to add a piece of themselves to you. London Baby Bells: What Tales Bells Tell by Lande Jewels uncovers these masked creatures and their devious conspiracies in a collection of 14 poems on London's most beautiful and renowned bells. From the birth of bell-making to the symbol of occasion, London bells are finally put in the spotlight for all to see.

I want to commend the author on being so thoughtful in their research. Lande Jewels showed something beautiful in a simple thing that is easily overlooked. Each bell in every poem told a powerful story and held onto the feelings of the people they served. In joyous moments, the poems' tone and flow move fast with warmth, full of heart, and carefully slow down at parts for the reader to grasp the meaning of important lines. The sounds of bells aren’t common pleasures I hear in my life. I’ve often associated the sound of large churches, gatherings, and charity events with tolling, but now I see them with a lot more meaning and respect. I recommend London Baby Bells: What Tale Bells Tell and their untold story to all who seek to hear some of London's most famous secrets from their keepers.
