Sally Edwards was convinced that her husband’s death was not suicide and not accidental either. One year after his death she contemplates having the case reopened, despite her son’s objection, so that she and her son can finally have closure. Relying on her husband’s appointment book which showed he had meetings scheduled after his alleged suicide, she tries to convince the county sheriff, who is also a good friend, to reopen and review the case. Her new resolve, however, seems to further aggravate her son,s erratic behavior which had for the past year been quite problematic and that was one reason why she wanted the truth revealed. But the more she dug, the more she finds her estranged father’s hand dipped in the case. The only way to get to the truth was to reconnect with her father and that prospect for her is not a pleasant one.
