“Miraculous Deception” , Book Two of P I Barrington’s new series “Future Imperfect brings the reader right into the story from the cliff hanger that they were left with in Book One “Crucifying Angel”.

New Creation takes the reader on a thrilling adventure. Payce Halligan was in the hospital in a comatose state. After two attempts on her life, she disappears from the hospital. Her partner Gavin McAllister has temporarily partnered with Nick. The constant bickering of the two men stands in the way of solving the murder/suicide. All the evidence points to The New Creation. Amy, a journalist with Channel 8 news will stop at nothing short of blackmail and seduction to get a story. Eventually Nick and Gavin realize they were lied to and Payce is missing. The pair put their differences aside and begin to work together like true detectives. How can a hospital lose a comatose patient? An onslaught of deaths of cancer patients prove to be connected to a legalized drug. The bodies are starting to stack up.

Author PI Barrington takes the reader on a thrilling journey that ends with a cliff hanger. She always leaves her readers drooling for the next book in the series. Some series can be read as a standalone, but this one should be read in succession. This is a fast paced book that will keep the reader involved with the characters right to the very end and yearning for more. Look for Book three on the market in January, "Future Imperfect Book Three" - "Final Deceit".
