Author Biography

Suzanne Brown is a strategic marketing consultant and work-life balance speaker, strategist, and author. She has experienced how hard it can be to juggle as a working mom, both in the corporate world and as an entrepreneur. Suzanne realized that there were limited resources for professional working moms trying to manage all the things. She set out to provide resources to empower moms to create what they want and need in work-life balance.

She shares own experience and research as well as tips, insights, and advice from interviews with more than 110 working moms. Her first book, Mompowerment: Insights from Successful Professional Part-time Working Moms Who Balance Career and Family is a Favorite Reader silver medal winner. In it, Suzanne gives working moms tools to successfully transition to professional part-time roles. And her recent book, The Mompowerment Guide to Work-life Balance: Insights from Working Moms on Balancing Career and Family, a best-seller on Amazon, enables working moms to create the balance they crave.

Suzanne received her MBA, Bachelor of Business Administration, and Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from The University of Texas at Austin. She and her husband live in Austin, Texas. In their downtime, you can often find them trying to keep up with their two active young boys, whether on a local hike or a far-off adventure.

Mompowerment: Insights from Successful Professional Part-Time Working Moms Who Balance Career and Family by Suzanne Brown is an insightful book that handles a relevant topic in a progressive and positive manner, one that will help all moms make changes in the workplace and home. This practical guide to motherhood gives excellent tips and suggestions and interviews that will help in a good transformation to being successful as a professional part-time working mom. The book creates a situation where all moms will feel empowered, both in motherhood and career. The information, examples, and personal stories are useful to moms when it comes to making their choices.

This book is not only informative, but can also be used as a reference guide. The exercises are helpful when it comes to understanding where changes need to be made and figuring out what works for each person. For all mothers, women who are thinking of having babies, career women, and those wanting help on how to approach motherhood, this book has a lot to offer.
