Carol's daring journey begins after she discovers a mysterious poster of a man in her attic. Interestingly enough, her mother has warned her not to enter the attic for undisclosed reasons. But Carol, driven by curiosity regarding her father's suspicious disappearance several years ago, enters said attic and finds the poster. Unknown to her, this peculiar item is a time portal of some sort, capable of teleporting her into a dystopian future filled with zombies, mutated beings, and a malevolent force more diabolical than any evil she has encountered in her life. Carol's father may very well be the only person who can stop this impending doom from occurring. But can she locate him in time, or will she suffer defeat?
In Mutated Files, Rachel E. Croxton draws readers into a terrifying and exhilarating dystopian universe brimming with surprising plot twists and an engaging storyline.
