My Dog is My Relationship Coach by Maureen Scanlon is an engaging book where the author speaks about the importance of furry companions in learning about a variety of subjects, especially love, companionship, and relationships. The book explores how pets can enhance the perception of readers in relationships, and the easy methods they can use to find and keep meaningful relationships. Many singles are looking for a companion or a partner. This book is a handy manual to see clearly what it takes to heal, improve marriages and romantic relationships, and have an honest journey in finding love. Let us read the book and enjoy the ride in finding, growing, and keeping a romantic relationship.

I like the way Maureen Scanlon has chosen to tackle the subject of relationships; it is innovative and unique. She uses anecdotes, tips, examples, and personal experiences to guide readers on the journey of finding or loving their companion/partner. The author also gives good tips on how to deal with the four main factors in a marriage: trust, honesty, intimacy, and finances. The manner in which the author weaves in the idea of having a dog is quite interesting to note while reading. The insights in the book are uplifting to readers who want to choose good partners and have a successful relationship. The sample diagram at the end is an exercise where the readers can list the features that they desire in a perfect mate. My Dog is My Relationship Coach is definitely a  must-read for all those who want to begin their dating process and find a relationship that is joyful and easy.
