To respect the environment, it is necessary to know as much about it as possible, so that love for everything that surrounds us can be generated. We can learn a lot about our environment by getting to know the insects we live with. That is why My First Insect Book is perfect for children as an introduction to nature. Identifying insects is quite useful, as well as learning about their qualities. There are insects of many types and they are wonderful, unique in their shapes and characteristics. My First Insect Book provides magnificent photographs of insects such as bumblebees and ladybugs. Accompanying each photograph, there is a small description or characteristic of the insect that helps us to better appreciate it. D. A. Batrowny shares the love of nature in this book for children of all ages.
With excellent presentation and photography, the colors look beautiful. I loved all the images for their good quality and the angles so well chosen. The overall color selection is also very nice. It is encouraging to find books like this to get kids interested in science and nature. The sentences are concise for children who are learning to read. D. A. Batrowny shares interesting facts about insects. All the facts in the book help youngsters to better understand how insects live and how they relate to their environment. My First Insect Book will help readers learn to appreciate and value nature in a simple and fun way.
