Easy to read,yet beautifully written, the author immediately engages the reader in her personal story.It is a real story, with struggles and questions. But in the end, it is a story of hope and determination and a love of life made clearer by the author's relationship with God.

This was an easy, quick read of Mary's heartfelt journey and the obstacles she encountered. Her emotions were palpable throughout the story. Her hope, faith and conversion are inspiring. I'm certain she met her goals of helping others remain hopeful and faithful and inspiring them through their life's journey. I'm continuing to share the book with others to help her fulfill her reason for writing her story.

This book will draw you in quickly, with Mary's wonderful story. She is so open & honest about her struggles & it really is encouraging how she perseveres and is so blessed by what she finds one day in the Grand Canyon! The peace and true joy she finds in the Father rather than in man or her circumstances is inspiring to me. Mary is easy to relate to & I can share some of the same fears & struggles. The most exciting part is the dance between her & the Lord - His extravagent love transforms her anxious heart & mind, allowing her to rest in His strong, ever lasting, never failing arms. And, she doesn't have to do anything to deserve it -it's all a free gift! "My Heart's Desire" by Mary Singer Wick is a book about the peaks and valleys of Mary Singer Wick's life. The author deeply desired to have a Godly marriage and children too. Sadly, her life seemed to lead her away from her "heart's desire" rather than closer. Still, Mary Singer Wick maintained determination and a good attitude. She maintained her career, she continued to keep a support of friends, she never denied the reality of God.

I very much enjoyed the book. I especially felt inspired with Mary Singer Wick's honesty. There were times of questioning God and a lack of self worth within herself. I also felt that she remained full of integrity. With insurmountable debt on her back, she didn't decide not to pay off her debt. I remember when she paid a debt of $25,000 down, down and down. There is so much to this Christian woman's life. I don't want to give away every detail. Just know whether she trying Acupuncture, imagery or going from Raleigh to New Mexico her life is an inspiration to be read about and pondered for many days. Thank you Mary Singer Wick for allowing me to read your enjoyable and meaningful book.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading Mary's book. It was more than just a good read. It was like sitting down with Mary over coffee and learning all about her life's struggles and triumphs. I would recommend this book to anyone, but especially those people who feel that the challenges in their lives are just too hard to overcome. As she describes her health issues and vocational challenges she shows how faith should not be compartmentalized but rather should permeate our life. The way she honors Jon (her husband)with her words is a refreshing picture of a wife who is seeking to bring her husband "good all the days of her life." Mary's Heart's Desire was a delight to my heart, and will bring much glory to the Lord. I have already recommended it to many friends.
