My Little Angel Coloring Book by Sherrill S. Cannon tells us that we all have a guardian angel looking out for us. The guardian angel is always there, even if we can’t see her or him. One little guardian angel named Angela sits on her girl’s shoulder all day, listening to her, helping her remember to do the right thing, making sure she’s safe and secure, and happy. Angela is a busy guardian angel as she helps her girl learn her lessons, remember her manners and always be polite, and take care when stranger danger is present. Life is not as easy as one would hope and it’s nice to know there’s a guardian angel on our shoulder to help us along our journey through life.

Sherrill S. Cannon’s coloring book story, My Little Angel Coloring Book, is a sweet story about a little girl and her guardian angel. Told in rhyming verse, the lyrical nature of the story will capture the attention of young readers as they learn, along with the little girl, some of the important things they must always do to stay safe and healthy at all times. The rhyming story appears on one page with a colorful background, while the facing page is a line drawing for young readers to color in themselves. Images of the author’s previous books are cleverly placed on some of the coloring pages. The plot is simple as it follows a little girl while she carries on with her daily journey through life with her special guardian angel perched on her shoulder. At the end of the book are some “Special Notes from Sherrill,” including questions about some of the important messages shared in the story. This is a clever, interactive book to teach young readers how to care for themselves and stay safe.

My Little Angel Coloring Book by Sherrill S. Cannon is a wonderful children's book. It tells the beautiful story of a little girl and Angela, her guardian angel, and allows young readers to color the many pictures. Angela and the young protagonist are always together, and we follow them from the moment the little girl wakes up, has breakfast and takes her vitamins, greets her mother, goes to school, and does everything a child of her age does. Let yourself be enchanted by this delightful story and share the events and feelings with the little girl and her guardian angel.

My Little Angel Coloring Book is a book that will delight all young readers who read it. A lovely protagonist, an adorable guardian angel, an enjoyable story, and many coloring pictures are the ingredients that make this book special. Sherrill S. Cannon's story will amuse children a lot. She portrayed Angela in such a way as to make her charming from the first page, while the young protagonist is a character with whom young readers certainly have a lot in common. Any one of them will have wondered at one time or another what it means to have a guardian angel, and this book reveals that to them very well. I believe that if the children who read it begin to imagine what it is like to have their own Angela, they will become much happier. I recommend My Little Angel Coloring Book to all children who wish to have a special friend.

"For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways" (Psalm 91:11). Sherrill S. Cannon shares a sweet story about a young girl and her guardian angel. The angel in My Little Angel Coloring Book is named Angela, who helps keep the young girl safe and guides her to live a life of kindness. One thing Angela tells the young girl is that she should strengthen her spirit, not only her mind. Too often, people focus on one or the other. This book shows the importance of focusing on both. One danger in today’s world is people that target children who are alone. Children often rebel at having to stay close to their parents. Angela helps the young girl see the importance of staying near her mother. This book is full of wisdom. Take the time to sit down with your children and discuss the lessons found.

A sweet story, wise advice, and a coloring book to boot. This is one great children’s book. Sherril S. Cannon shares the comfort of having a guardian angel. The angel in My Little Angel Coloring Book is influential in the young girl’s life. The girl is not named to allow you to give the girl your child’s name. Encourage your child to talk with you about the pictures as she colors them. Discuss the angel’s advice and how your child can follow it. The illustrations are drawn by the artistic team at Kalpart. Ask your child what they would do in the story’s various situations. Enjoy this book with your child. You will be glad you did.
