My Little Love by Rachel Catchings is a sweet little bedtime story for young children. As the child gets ready for bed, the day turns into night. The stars tell the child the story of her day. This story includes her life and how God has given her many things to enjoy. This is because God loves her. Children can accomplish many things in life, and this story encourages them to reach beyond the moon. Parents need to teach their children that God has a unique plan for each one, and He will enable them to accomplish that plan. Children are also comforted by reading that God will watch over them as they sleep. Life is an adventure and reading this book helps the child sleep with dreams of what wonderful adventures the next day will bring.
What child does not love a bedtime story? When bedtime stories unite with faith, the book is a winner. To accompany the storyline, Autumn McAdams has provided excellent illustrations that add life to the words. It is nice to find a book that presents God in a non-obtrusive manner. Teaching children to live with God on their minds is a wonderful lesson. This book shows that one can keep God in the center and not be overbearing with those who do not share your belief. Parents need to make bedtime special for their children. Reading stories helps the child calm down and settle into a restful sleep. The sing-song writing style by Rachel Catchings will help your children relax and enjoy. My Little Love is a fantastic book for bedtime.
