Buddy was taken to the vet because he was unwell. The little boy had no idea what a vet did and his mommy explained to him that a vet was an animal doctor. Buddy slept all way to the vet's office. When they reached the vet's office there were many other dogs waiting there and Buddy wanted to play with them. The vet weighed Buddy, looked in his ears and mouth, and listened to his heart. The vet said Buddy was fine but he needed to be more active, play more, and run more with other dogs. While they were leaving, the vet gave Buddy a treat. On their way back home, the little boy's mother took him to a rescue center for dogs so that they could get a playmate for Buddy. The little boy was extremely happy because he got a new dog for Buddy and him to play with.
