In Past Lives Denied by Ellenmorris Tiegerman, Professor Caitlyn Morrys is a teacher at Coronado University. Her life, just like that of Ashford, has not been very easy. She is tormented by nightmares, which she believes are her past lives. Caitlyn has been influenced by the work of Dr. Weiss, who pioneered regression therapy, which guided people in their past lives. At the university, she leads the committee responsible for determining the tenure of professors. The committee is facing challenges from Uzinski, who is influenced by politics rather than meritocracy and prefers academicians from the Stutts Foundation. In a sudden twist of events, Uzinski is murdered. Who killed him? What is the Past Life Theory that influences Caitlyn?

Past Lives Denied by Ellenmorris Tiegerman is a one-of-a-kind thriller and captures some of the most recent issues affecting not just our universities but society in general. Cancel culture and the use of violence against those who don't agree with mainstream ideas have been on the rise. This has caused a decline in tolerance and increased the chances of violence. Another thing that caught my attention in this thought-provoking work was Caitlyn's discussion with Ashford about religion, which influences society and people's behavior. The author was very effective in passing on the intended message. The suspense kept me looking forward to subsequent chapters, and the excellent narration added to the overall appeal of the book. The characters were well-developed and relatable. I am looking forward to reading something else by this talented author.
