While they are out walking, Pip spots a blue butterfly in the grass with a bent wing that keeps it from flying. Aeva and Pip decide to stay with it, make a small place for it to rest, bring water, and spend the day nearby while they hope the wing will get better. They stay with the butterfly until evening, keeping it company and trying their best to help before heading home. When they finally get back, a surprise awaits them.
