Precedence: Bondage is Part of The Game by Marsha L Ceniceros is a compelling blend of crime and sci-fi, a story that follows the life of a Russian assassin, Bohdan, now retired and in pursuit of inner peace. After leaving behind a life filled with danger and crime, all he wants is to find redemption. But he is suddenly pulled out of his retreat into a world of conspiracy, crime, and advanced technology when his grandson goes missing. Determined to unveil the mystery behind the disappearance of his grandson, he begins to do what he does best, only this time he isn’t the man he used to be and the game is no longer played the way it used to be played. Does he have enough fight left in him to uncover the truth and face the evil that looms ahead?
Marsha L Ceniceros has the unique gift of taking the reader into the psychological world of the characters, capturing strong emotions with forensic clarity. Here is an example of the power of her descriptive prose: “The subtle impact of emptiness lingered within each breath!
